VIPER ‘board support package’ for QNX Neutrino 6.3 – a platform to create high performance ‘hard’ real-time solutions.

Arcom’s VIPER Development Kit can be used with the QNX Neutrino 6.3 ‘board support package’ and the QNX Momentics development tools to create a powerful platform for hard real-time applications. Arcom does not offer a complete ready-to-run development kit in the same format as other operating systems, however, the BSP may be used with the standard Momentics tools to create an image for the VIPER SBC.

The BSP can be supplied with a RedBoot Development Kit to allow you to create an operational QNX Neutrino solution. The Kit includes the low power 400MHz VIPER PC/104 single board computer fitted with 64Mbytes of DRAM and 32Mbytes of Intel StrataFlash. The board is installed inside a rugged industrial compact enclosure (VIPER-ICE) and includes a battery backed uninterruptible power supply (VIPER-UPS), an external AC PSU, Q-VGA flat panel colour 5.5” TFT screen and analogue touchscreen, cables to connect to your host, and a comprehensive information/software CD.
