EBX format Intel® Pentium® M / Celeron M based embedded PC

The APOLLO uses the Intel® Pentium® M processor to offer the best combination of high performance computing features with the lowest power dissipation. This single board computer can be fitted with the Intel® Pentium® M or Intel® Celeron M processors with speed options from 600MHz to 1.8GHz (400MHz FSB only). The combination of Enhanced Intel SpeedStep® Technology and the Intel 855GME/ICH4 chipset ensures that the board is ideal for compact systems with restricted ventilation and can be used to create very high performance fan-less systems. All these features are incorporated onto an industry standard EBX board with standard connectors for many of the I/O connections.

The APOLLO board offers a long list of features making it ideal for implementing high performance applications in a robust system. The APOLLO is designed to offer the features absent from most motherboards such as an integrated CompactFlash port for accessing storage cards and wireless modules such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular modems. Also included are security features such as TPM and tamper detection logic for use in kiosks, ATMs, casino venues and military IT systems. The APOLLO is also designed to accommodate the largest footprint copper heat-sink to achieve fan-less operation up to 65ºC.

The APOLLO is supported with three rapid application Development Kits for Windows XP Embedded, 'embedded' Fedora Linux and an entry-level version for use with other standard operating systems. To speed up the process of system integration, you can also purchase individual cables used within the APOLLO Development Kits. The APOLLO can also be supplied as part of a fully compliant, industry standard 1U 19 inch rack mount enclosure (APOLLO ICE). The APOLLO ICE may be fitted with either fan assisted or fanless configurations of the APOLLO SBC using Celeron M and Pentium M processors.

The APOLLO is also available with a number of standard add-on accessory modules for system integration.

2 slot PCI Riser Breakout Board APOLLO-USB-LVDS-VGA APOLLO-USB-DVI
This flexible riser expands the single PCI 2.2 slot from the APOLLO into two multi-master PCI slots. A convenient panel mounting breakout board for the system power switch, board reset, HDD access LED, two USB ports (for system configuration and software updates) and one Firewire port. The header for the tamper detect circuit is also included. An interface module converting the LVDS output to a second standard analogue output (VGA to SXGA).
The module also includes access to USB ports 5 & 6.
An interface module connected to the APOLLO DVO port providing a DVI-D (digital only) output (VGA to UXGA).
