Rugged industrial compact enclosure matched to
the
400MHz fan-less SBC-GX533 single board computer

The SBC-GX533 ICE (industrial compact enclosure) is
optimised for the SBC-GX533 embedded PC
single board computer. The enclosure consists of an aluminium chassis, a
60W AC or 25W 10 - 36V DC power supply cable looms and an
optional 2.5" hard drive and integrated safe-shutdown (UPS)
module (24V input only). |

The system offers
sufficient space to stack two PC/104 expansion modules onto the SBC-GX533
single board computer and provide cable connections from the enclosure.
The lid can easily be removed to give good access for development,
maintenance and upgrading. The ICE is an FCC/CE compliant enclosure
which may be fitted directly into OEM machinery or attached to wiring
panels for industrial installations.
The SBC-GX533 ICE can be supplied with a universal 60W AC or 25W
10 - 36V
DC PSU (with optional safe-shutdown UPS module for 24V systems). This module
consists of power switch, charging circuit and connectors for use with
the integrated 0.8AHr sealed lead-acid battery providing approximately 5
minutes of system hold-up time. This is useful for systems running from
automotive car and truck supplies as well as unreliable/noisy DC power
systems. The hold-up period is sufficient to overcome power system
'brown-outs' and with the built in power monitoring utility it will
perform an orderly shut-down for Windows XP Embedded control systems
after a predetermined time without main power being present.
