| It is the responsibility of the
manufacturer to devise and implement a test plan, in line with a chosen compliance route. The Arcom Test Plan involves a comprehensive programme of in-house pre-compliance testing of board and system-level products, backed by independent verification of Technical Construction Files or TCFs. For pre-compliance testing, Arcom utilise specialised calibrated equipment, together with a fully-equipped screened room (established as a result of a large-scale company investment). |

Arcom have selected two paths for CE compliance. For PCbus I/O boards, the chosen route is Self-Certification; whereas for STEbus, Technical Construction Files have been used, based on a new standard product, the CRATE3-CE. |
